cute cute cute!!!

Without fail, it is Edison and his sex scandal on the headline almost everyday. This sex scandal is even larger than the death of one of Hong Kong's most respected veterans, Lydia Sim. Everyday, the media was revealing new victims and photos and speculating who is the next, when was the photo taken, how long was the relationship etc..

Okies, now that Edison returned to Hong Kong to apologize, speculation is running wild. Many discussed about how carefully he phrased his apology speech. Is he trying to create retreat from Hong Kong entertainment industry and go to Hollywood instead?

I'm never a fan of Edison. I do think he is cute but just not my kinda guy. I did feel that he had to be blamed for this whole episode. After all, if he had not taken any photo, there would be no photo to circulate. He, indeed, has brought the ladies and their families immense sufferings in various aspects. Don't get me wrong, I do feel likewise. However, he has his own to cure and account to many more people (to the each of the victims and their families and his own family). Since he has come forward to apologize, shouldn't this scandal come to an end soon?

The media has blown up this scandal. I see no point of them reporting about it everyday. Yeah, Kira is to be blamed for uploaded the pictures online. But isn't the media an "accomplice"? They stimulated so much attention that the masses are interested to look at these photos?

How different are they from Kira? Maybe they are not "Kira", they are "Light"? They published some of those photos and put squares on vital parts. Yeah, it helps a bit. Edison has this social responsibility as he is the role model to many teens. Doesn't the media have any??

I am stunned by the way Hong Kong media treated their local celebrity. It seems like celebrity isn't all about fame and glam. The fall from grace can be unredeemable..

Hope that those affected will find peace one day soon .....

===========================================================

Thanks everyone!. Life is indeed tough. However, with you all as my buoy in life, I bet it will be smooth sailing. I hope I can be your buoy too! Let's work hard together!! Go Go go!

I met up with Shuting on 15th Feb.. Finally!.. And finally, we went back to Ngee Ann Poly (NP)!! We had for our lunch there. Yeah!! Seriously, I love food from canteen 1! The Malay food, Cavana Chicken Rice, the Jap food, the Yong Dou Foo, the Waffle! Yum Yum! To me, that is the best canteen in NP!

Shuting with her Furong Dan set from the Jap stall. WOOO. It is real nice! I can taste it as I look at the photo!

I had Yong Dou Foo (YDF). Since the YDF stall at NTU closed down, I had not been eating any lO! Heard from Shuting that this YDF stall for the Desmond Koh and Felicia Chin's show. Actually, the YDF is not bad, better than NTU's. But the auntie is "spicy" man! I remember during my first lunch in NP, I was chatting with Alison while choosing the food. She scolded me sia, asked me not to talk and hurry up! I was stunned. And from then onwards, I didn't dare to chat with queuing. Haha.

Once, I was behind this group of guys in the queue. The auntie asked them if they want bean sprout or veggie. The boys thought for quite a while. Then, she asked again.. "or you want me?" Omg. I was trying my very best to suppress my laughers. When I saw the auntie, I kinda find her very cute. I think she spice up my poly life man! Lol.

I used to think that I hate my poly life, cos it was a period of stagnant progress. Haha. But thinking back, I was in self-denial. I miss the days when the kukus chilled in the library or canteen 1 and crapped, laughed at each other and did disgusting stuffs. Chelsy's han han episode, Alison's ziggy "crush", my "merlion". Those were really the days...

And and, Choon Mei and Shuting! The three of us always went out for lunch and dinner!! Now.. we can hardly meet out as it is hard to find a common free day! =(

==========================================

Anyway, I realized everytime I meet Shuting, I will get something! I am a lucky gal! She gave me a Disney Princess file and a pair of earrings! Really thank you, Shuting! Thanks for pampering me! Thanks for being a avid contributor to my snow globe collection! =D

Hope to meet ya soon after your exams!! Work hard ya! JIA you SHUTING! Fight fight fight!

Guo Nian Ji

Okies. Since it is the last day of the Lunar New Year today, so I should talk abit about my new year celebration.

Pre-CNY

This is my manicure! I love it. Did it myself. It looks nice from far but "F" close-up. Haha. Mmm. I wonder how come girls (expect sab sab, keke) wana do manicure on CNY and other special occasions. I understand that it is expensive to keep going back for manicures and nail arts. However, why do we choose to go on festive season when the prices are hiked up?

You know what is my favourite new year goodies other than love letters and chocolates?? I love Kuih Bangkit! I love the way the whole thing melts into this chalky slimy but yummy mixture. When I was a child, I liked to colour my lips with the powder residue. It is real good. In fact, I am munching them while I am typing now. Lol.

Shopped for new year goodies this time round. I found it exciting.. But astonishing too. One pack of cashew nuts could go up to $15. OMg. It is always like that or is it the inflation?

CNY CNY

Chu Yi.
We always go to our wai po's house and slack there. Will have our breakfast and lunch over there. We will wait for some of my wai po's sibling and friends to come and we can get HONG BAOS. LOl. At noon and night, we will start to operate our very own IR.

One of the relatives commented on something which make me afraid. She said that it seems like only their generation is keened on going out and visiting relatives and friends. Maybe when their generation is gone, we will not resume this tradition. I fear too. I think CNY is a proud tradition of the Chinese, and to some extend Singapore too. I feel that if we were to lose this uniqueness, we would be like Chinese without our soul. Every CNY just chill at home or go overseas, what is the point then?

my sister eating dinner at my wai po's jia

my cousin and my sis

my baby cousin trying to sleep

babies man! Coaxed my baby cousin to look at the camera, she didn't want to. When she looked up, my cousin didn't wana look at the camera! 2 babies!

my auntie and me

Oh. My auntie took some real nice photos of everyone. Didn't manage to get it from her. Sad. Nvm. This is fate.

We went to our tai ma jia. My tai ma is bascially bedridden. She could eat solid food, talk and open her eyes widely. During Christmas season, she was admitted to the hospital. The doctor said she will not last long. Kinda sad. I wonder will we get to see her next lunar new year. =(

Okies. Look at my tom boy cousin! This is what she did at other people's house!

Chu Si.

Renita, Mel, Korping and I went to Dan's house. His mum's cooking not bad wor! We had a great lunch. Played some Monopoly and Black Jack. Renita rocked for Monopoly while Melvin kept going to Jail! Ironically, otherwise happened at Black Jack. Melvin won alot of moneY!. Mmm. Renita lost but not alot. However, Dan's mum lost alot but luckily to Dan's sister. So it was quite okies. Dan's mum can treat it like giving Dan's sister allowance lo.

Shan, Dan and Melvin came over at night. We played Black Jack again, but this time with my cousins and siblings. I was bored by it! Black Jack is never fun when you are always losing. Lol.
P.S: Shan Shan, thanks for you CNY and Birthday cards. They are cute!

Chu Wu.

Kai, YS, Ivan and I went over to San's house. Cos, Ys was working on San's modem problem. So we also joined in to do our mini "project". It has been long since we gathered at one person's house with everyone bringing their laptops. Nostalgia!

we were making ourselves at home

san's mum cooked fried rice for us. yum yumm. we had to help ourselves to second serving!

What were we doing?? Why did we look so seriously engaged?

*Ten ten*

we were looking at the photos we took on 9th Feb'08

and transferring photos! LOL.

our laptops with the same wallpaper!!

I love this photo!

---------------------------------------------------------
This CNY, I got a sweet gift. Wai po told me that she was really happy to see us (my siblings and me). Haha. I felt sucky earlier on due to an argument the day before. Upon hearing that, I was alleviated from anger. I am happie to see ya too, wai po.

I miss my wai gong.. CNY is not like CNY to me after he was gone. I really miss him. Chatted with CS about his Dad's death. He was telling about cremation of his Dad. I remember how it felt at that moment. Everything was over. Life was reduced to ashes.

Now I really understand why those Korean drama always use ling like "Live well, and let him/her lives it your heart." Death is really scary.. Whenever I think of my wai gong, I woul dwonder where do we go after we die. There is no answer or reasonable imaginative world I can derive. Human seems to dissolve into dust after death, like we suddenly disappear from Earth's surface. I guess, the only things that grow are the yearning and fondness in our hearts.

We really never cherish until we lose. I wish I am able to go back to the days where we all just slacked in front of the tv and had our dinners. Those were the days ... Nonetheless, I will always have you in my heart....

my valentine's day

I got a flower! It was this cute flower bookmark from Denise!! Sooooooo CUTE! keke. I gave Denise, Esther and Van roses and they loved them. I am glad! Actually, I kinda regretted buying the roses cos I had to trouble Ivan alot (thanks ya, Ivan) and coordination of timing problems. However, I was glad that the roses brought smiles to them! Keke. Thanks gal for all the joys and cares!!

Took some photos in school with the gals and the flowers! (special thanks to ASK for being our photographer again!)

Went to dinner with Eileen (from curl). I saw quite a few familiar faces (AJ, JiaHuan, LV, Yongxing...). Wow, they were so high to spend their valentine's with each other. Haha. See, Valentine's is not about LOVE between opposite sexes; It includes friends and family too! Lol. So I had a quite happie one! Keke.

After which I visited my grandma for a short while and went home. Didn't go home for dinner for the past few days. When I went back slightly early to eat on Thursday, my mum was kinda happie. Lol, so I should eat regularly at home now.

pre-valentine's day (13022008)

0It was a very rosy day! Ivan met me to pass me the rose I ordered for the gals. I had 6 individual roses. And and, I got roses from Kang Fu for my Birthday gift! It was really a big surprise! I didn't expect a deliver to me in school by him. Kang Fu wrote this funniest card man! He wished me Happie Birthday, Happie Valentine's Day, Happie Good Friday and Good luck for exam all at one go! Super kiasu hor! Keke. He gave me a invisible hong bao too! =.= Seriously, Kang Fu, your card is one and only in the universal lo! Nevertheless, thank you! =)

Met with San and Kai to pass them flower.. Hope you all love the rose.

.From Kang Fu.

.ah kai!.

.all the roses!.

Birthday Celebration on 9th Feb 2008

( p.a.r.t.t.w.o )

After the surprise house visit, we set off to Sentosa! I really think major of the Singaporeans think alike. Kao, there was a super long queue we reached the rooftop; all the way from the Sentosa counter beside Food Republic to the outside. Can you believe it? Gosh. However, we still sticked to our plan! The flower exhibition was okies. There was quite alot of species of flowers and plants. However, I was estimating more of a large garden with lotsa colorful flowers and less of man-made flower sculptures. Nonethless, the sculptures were impressive. We took so many photos with flowers. I think there are so many pretty ones. It really brings fond memories!

After a seemingly long day at Sentosa, we proceeded back to Vivo City to fill our sadly deprived stomach! It was saddening that Ivan couldn't join us. He had to rush home for some family dinner.

Guess what are we doing??
Haha. We were reading the same message Ivan sent to each of us.

At Vivo City, there was yet another surprise! Exit Ivan, Enter... AH SEOW!!! Wee.. Long time never see ah seow, I was happy that he could make it! Actually, everyone of the closer primary school friends celebrated my birthday with me. I am so touched. Just that, we couldn't all sit down together as a big family. Never mind. There'll be the day! =D

Here are some photos I love!

Love this. We queued for half an hour to take photo with the star!

Haha. This photo is cute. So san didn't know that we were teasing her. ><

YS was about to get off the "lorry", san managed to capture smiley faces from them both!

Kai, San and I had this fetish that day about photos that involved no direct contact with the camera lenses! And we love this!

Impromptu nice shot on the escalator!

The merry all of us, with a great expression and pose by Ivan! Lol.

San and me at the right time and right angle, cos we look like flower fairies. Hee.

Kai and I struggled to pose as guys. I think ASK will kill me when he see this. Keke.

To ah soon who asked me what is my favourite flower, this is it.

San was so pretty that day!!!

See see, another piece of evidence!

It was a sweet day! Really. Now that I am recalling about the surprises and funs and all the laughters and smiles, my exhaustion drains off.. Thank you so much! I miss you all! Ah green loves you all!
