Am I that unluckily or Mac is really that lousy?

Wa, this is really putting my patience to tests. Mac really has lousy after-sale services. Last month, I couldn't switch on my Macbook because there was this flashing question mark all the times. The Customer Service Officer (CSO) at the call centre told me to bring my laptop down to the service centre because it was a sign that the hard disk gonna crash. I was kinda stunned. I brought the laptop in March. My sister said given my reputation (the fact that I spoilt 2 laptops in 2 months), it was unsurprising. Okies, I accepted that it could be my fault.

Did the usual things: brought my Macbook down to Wheelocks Epic Centre, told them the problems, they sent it to TPY to change the hard disk bah bah. When it came to collection, I was surprised that a world renowned brand will just send you a message to inform you. Surprise No. 2: They never even INDICATE who they are. My god. But I guess they didn't expect that they will have electronic killer customers like me who happened to send my phone to Nokia Service Centre at Wheelocks and laptop to Wheelocks' Epic Centre. At least, Nokia called me to inform me that my phone was ready for collection.

Then again third days after collection, my Macbook malfunction again! This time, whenever I switched on the laptop, I was asked to restart again. No matter how many zillion times I restarted, I still got the message, man. Arugh. This time my sister scolded me really fiercely lo. She said that I should stop using any electronics since I always spoilt them. I felt maligned; I don't believe i am that formidable that I can spoil a laptop in 2 days! But what could I say? All the evidence pointed to me.

Again, I brought my Macbook down to Wheelocks. They told me it was Kernel Shock. The technician, who changed my hard disk, forgot to change my loading board. This caused a shock to the system. Upon hearing this, I tried to maintain my politeness but gave a super big roll of my eyes! Wa liao ar~! Okies okies. Probably the person is also as blur as me. So i tried to forgive him or her, though I felt pek chek sia.

It has been 2 weeks, 2 weeks without any news of my Macbook. I wonder what happened to it sia. The CSO said I can collect it after 5-6 days. Called them yesterday, they said the part just arrived. I could collect it tomorrow. During the evening, they called me again. Wa seh, this time said my hard disk crashed again. Cannot switch on. I had the shock of my life sia. I kept asking the person how come like that. He kept asking me if it is okies that i lose all the data. This is the last straw, man. I raised my voice abit and said: " Can you tell me what happen ar? I brought this laptop for less than a year lei. In fact, less than haf a year lei." The person told me that this time he would make sure that everything will be okies (I was thinking so the last time round, you all never make sure?). He asked me again: " So it will be okies to lose the data right?" Well, what can i say? "I guess no choice right? There is nothing you can do now right? Den nvm lo. Just make sure it is workable lo."

Haha. Thinking back, I feel I was kinda rude. It is not his fault. Maybe it is just me. Alot of people use Macbook and feel that it is okies. It's just my luck, man. Hais. I told my sister about it. She said I should ask for an exchange for a new one. My mother also said so. But is it possible?? Hopefully this time round, everything will be okies lo. =]
